Webelos is the last step for boys in Cub Scouts until they cross over into Boy Scouts. There are Webelos 1, who are boys in the fourth grade and/or age 10, and Webelos 2, who are boys in the fifth grade and/or age 11. Webelos do most of their activities at the den level. The boys are learning to be more independent and self-reliant. They are also gaining selfconfidence in themselves. The Webelos also get a taste of being a Boy Scout. They are invited on Boy Scout camping trips on the local level and Council level. Webelos 1 are boys in the fourth grade. They will be doing more of the activities and events on their own, or as part of the Webelos den. They start to become more self-reliant and independent. They have to also start working as a team. The Webelos Den Leader is Michael Tessaro and meetings will be on the first and third Tuesdays of the Month. Contact Michael Tessaro The Webelos 2 leader is Lisa Putting. This group of boys is comprised of fifth graders. They are preparing to cross over into Boy Scouts in February. They participate in the Boy Scout camping trips to help them get ready for Boy Scouts. These boys will also be working on their Arrow of Light. This is the highest rank a Cub Scout may earn and it can be worn on to Boy Scouts.Contact Lisa Putting
